Movie Nights and Youth Drop In Sessions Starting Next Week

We are so happy to announce that The Kidwelly Town community hall trust has been successful in our grant application for Youth Cinema Nights at the Community centre here in Cydweli.

The Youth Cinema Nights Project

The project is funded from the Ten towns, "Our town our turn" grant.

This project is youth led. We have been working in partnership with a group of young people from Ysgol Glan Y Mor, and they requested cinema nights which they have provisionally named "Flash Flicks", to be decided at our first Drop In session next week.

We we will be hosting 3 cinema nights in April, May and June.

Fortnightly Youth Drop-In Sessions

Alongside these nights we will also be holding Youth Drop in sessions fortnightly to enable young people to work with us to create these events and to share their ideas for further Youth activities at the centre and also just to connect with each other. We aim to lay the building blocks for a vibrant youth space at the Princess Gwenllilan centre.

If you know of any one between the ages of 14 and 18 yrs old who would like to come along Please let them know of the following dates and tell them to bring their friends.

We are really looking forward to opening our doors to more local youth and youth activities.
