Cymric Archers is a friendly and welcoming club. Archery is a sport that almost everybody can take part in and enjoy. Whether you just want to enjoy a relaxing few hours with good company or want to be competitive and dream of progressing to the top level of competition, Cymric Archers can help you achieve your aim!

From 1 October to 31 March, we shoot twice a week here at the Princess Gwenllian Centre on a Wednesday evening and Sunday morning, otherwise we are at Pembrey Country Park during the summer months. We have a wide variety of members, from archers that have been shooting for a long time to juniors of just 10 years old.

The Kidwelly Curlews

The Kidwelly Curlews are a friendly, welcoming group that meet every Wednesday afternoon, from 1 to 3pm. Why not come along and try something new, you are welcome to just turn up on the day and join in.

Short mat bowling is a shorter, indoor version of lawn bowls, played on a 45′ long by 6′ wide mat. The objective is to roll bowls closer to a small target (the jack) than your opponents. A distinguishing feature is a wooden block in the centre of the mat that players must avoid hitting.
